Meet Dr. Hur

Ju Ri Hur, DDS, MSD

Dr. Juri Hur is proud to serve the community she has long called home. Born in Seoul, South Korea, she moved to the Dallas–Fort Worth area at age 15 and grew up in Flower Mound, graduating from Flower Mound High School. Returning to care for patients in her hometown is both a meaningful milestone and a true privilege.

Dr. Hur earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a certificate in Business Foundations from the University of Texas at Austin. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, graduating with high honors and Distinction in Dental Education. After completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, she practiced as a general dentist in the DFW area for six years and earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).

Her passion for saving natural teeth and helping patients through dental emergencies led her to pursue specialty training in endodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she earned her Certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry degree (MSD).

Dr. Hur is dedicated to providing comfortable, patient-centered endodontic care using advanced technology and evidence-based techniques. She understands that many patients feel anxious about root canal treatment and strives to create a calm, reassuring experience built on trust and clear communication.

She is board-eligible with the American Board of Endodontics and is fluent in English and Korean, with conversational Spanish. Outside the office, she enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with her husband, who practices family medicine locally.
