Meet Dr. Hur

Ju Ri Hur, DDS, MSD, FAGD

Dr. Ju Ri Hur was born in Seoul, South Korea, and moved to Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), TX at the age of 15. After graduating from Flower Mound High School, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a certificate in Business Foundations from the University of Texas at Austin. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, graduating with high honors and earning Distinction in Dental Education.

Following dental school, Dr. Hur completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. She practiced as a general dentist in the DFW area for six years, during which she earned Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). Driven by a growing interest in endodontics, she completed specialty training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, earning a Certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) degree. She is dedicated to helping patients preserve their natural teeth through nonsurgical and surgical root canal treatments using the latest techniques and technologies. She is excited to return to her hometown and is honored to serve the community of Flower Mound with compassion and expertise.

Dr. Hur is board-eligible with the American Board of Endodontics. She is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is fluent in English and Korean, and conversational in Spanish.

Outside the dental office, Dr. Hur enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, and trying new coffee shops and restaurants around town.
