Cynthia Monahan

I am a native Texan, born in Ft. Worth, but I have lived from the East to West coasts. I moved to Denton in 2009. I have three beautiful daughters, two handsome son-in-laws, one grandson, and two more grandchildren due to make their appearance in late 2015. I also have a cat named Sandy, and a Great Pyrenees named Moses. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking out, singing, fishing, and watching sports…especially college football (Go Auburn! WAR EAGLE!)

I started my career in dentistry in 1996 as a front office manager for a general dental practice in Charleston, SC. I worked for a specialty practice after moving back to Texas in 2009. However, in 2010, I decided to return to school and became an Registered Dental Assistant. I have seen the best of both worlds – the administrative and the clinical side of dentistry, as a surgical periodontal assistant/implant treatment coordinator. However, office operations and administration continue to be my interest. It is my goal to establish a pleasant overall experience and develop long lasting relationships, while helping the patient feel comfortable being my primary goal.
